How do you play regular xbox games on an xbox 360?
I have and xbox 360 and every time we try to play a regular xbox game it won’t let me. The sales people at the stores say they will work but when we get them home they won’t play. Any help?

You have to download a program to play the regular games. Then some will play but not all of them. Have you downloaded that update? If not then thats your problem. Good Luck.
You have to be online and the game has to be on the emulator list. You can check the last part at http://www.xbox.com and go to the 360 page. Meeting that criteria, when you insert an old game, it should automatically ask you to download the emulator. It takes less then a minute, but then it’s good to go.
You have to download game updates from xbox live to allow gameplay.Ther is a limited amount of games you can play
